WHY NOT UBER? I need non-emergency medical transportation

While ride sharing options like Uber and Lyft are great alternatives for commutes, they lack the necessary approaches offered by reputable assisted transportation companies. This is not to say that carpool companies don't offer benefits - of course they do; this is specifically intended to answer the questions around rideshare companies that CANNOT and should not be utilized for definitive purposes. And NO we don't mean a non-licensed, no liability or bonds responsible 3rd party or individual

with a personal car offering rides for fraction of the cost legit companies will charge. It only makes sense that "they can do it cheaper" because as noted - they have zero overhead, thus no expenses (other than gas and lease)

Odds are:

• They don't operate out of an office - NO rent, NO utilities, NO bills, NO expenses

• They are a one man show - NO employees, wages, work comp, liabilty, etc.

• They are using their own car - NO insurance, No routine service, maintenance, sanitation

Would you trust just anybody with a van without a badge, a name, unfortunately sometimes - without a valid driver's license, auto insurance, background check, clean record, experience or any other such credibility to offer you a ride?

Then comes the next worry. Did you know that outpatient surgery centers and hospitals require you to use a certified non-emergency transportation service following a procedure? Patients who undergo such medical interventions and are not allowed to drive themselves after anesthesia or any sedation, regardless of how minor the procedure was. They must secure a ride either with family members or friends, OR they must book an assisted ride with a certified non-emergency medical transportation company like E-Z Trans, Inc. who is authorized to sign out the patient and safely drive them to their final destination. It is also a perk and certainly an added peace of mind knowing that field operators or professional drivers for such companies must be CPR certified and must have extensive experience driving specifically in the medical field. Though they are not EMTs and of course not ambulance services, and although the patients they are transporting are not gurney bound or critically ill, and the likelihood of a medical emergency heppening while en route are very slim, drivers are nonetheless trained to insightfully react and offer expert help and seek immediate attention in time of unexpected crisis.

So... other than the fact that it is the LAW, it is also a comforting certainty that booking a ride with a non-emergency medical transportation company such as E-Z Trans, Inc. gives you the added peace while eliminating one less worry in what can otherwise be a gruesome day. Let's face it, no one wants more anxiety on the day of their medical procedure and the certainty of how to get to and from the surgery or appointment should be the last thing on a patient's mind.

It's the same reason why patients being discharged from the hospital are escorted to the exit on wheelchair, even if they feel completely perfect to walk themselves out. It's kind of like having full service with an extra touch. E-Z Trans drivers use their own wheelchairsto pick you up, and can even provide a wheelchair lift van so you remain in the wheelchair during your ride if you wish to. This way you don't have to endure any discomfort while going in and out of the car. A preferred vehicle type is also accommodated, with a vast variety of sedans, SUVs, luxury towncars, or wheelchair accessible vans the choices are yours. Eliminate the worry of a bumpy commute and enjoy the ride... with E-Z Trans.
